Demasiada agua is new independent production and the consequence of the composition works from the pianist Marina Ruiz and the bandoneonist Leandro Ragusa.
We have collaborated on this recording production with the most prominent musicians of the Buenos Aires musical scene They are coming from different genres like tango, jazz, folk, classical and latinoamerican music.

Here some of the first musical press critics:

"There are references to German cabaret here interwar and central European folklore. There is an obvious tango climate and lots of melodies with deep roots from Rio de la Plata. There are pieces that perfectly fit with what the market called chamber music but, at the same time and in that sense, there instrumentations that do not match the known. There are urban ballads, songs with text or just instrumental, blues, soul, chacarera, vidala, malambo, milonga, Brazilian music. There are pieces that have some incidental sound.
It could be assumed then that in such a concoction, a proposal would be sloppy, lack of guidance. However, the opposite is true here. Because of all this, and although the impossibility of putting labels is evident discomfort to the chronicler, this album must add consistency, set criteria, identity.
Marina Ruiz (piano, more akin to "classic") and Leandro Ragusa (bandoneon, more tango) are the creators of subjects who were arranging for other configurations as needed in a wide palette that mixes guitar, cello, piano, bandoneon , violin, percussion, flute, bass, clarinet, drums and also including female and child voices.
The whole album is crossed also by meticulous embodiment which is an added value. And when playing, besides the art of Ruiz and Ragusa, it is just also to recognize the work of the rest of the cast, numerous and varied as is this album"

"With a repertoire of original compositions, mostly in the recently released album "Demasiada agua" ("Too Much Water" ) (recorded in ION studios, in December 2012) and rhythmic variety opened the Sanata evening with a cheerful milongón "A los lejanos" followed by the waltz "Catastrofe de la bailarina", la chacarera "El Feo", through jazz and tango songs like "Romance de Luna", "El Apurado", Argentine folk song that fuses Latin rhythms, highlighting the great technical drummer, with a special set of battery drawer leguero drum, bongos and accessories. "Sambita pra mi bebe", a song in the key of Brazilian samba, to which is added a guest musician on clarinet.

"Mister Vertigo" is a find, highly recommended for its wealth of great variety of sounds fusing tango and Latin American music, with tremendous instrumentation"

"I confess that one year ago I did not know Marina Ruiz, but my first encounter with her, accompanying the singer Luciana Jury, gave me the feeling that this was a musician off the charts. Seeing her following presentations I was assured of that impression, and I could appreciate a talented pianist with great technique, a remarkable ductility, allowing her to move with the same comfort in the land of jazz, tango, folklore, and strong technic does not seem compatible with her physical constitution. These attributes can be seen in this record were Marina also appears as an accomplished composer with the permanent companionship of bandoneon player Leandro Ragusa, her companion of music and life, also the author of a couple of songs.
The presence of several skilled musicians through various formations, fleshes out a project in which integrate with solvency, influences of different  genres. Here you can find tango (courtesy of Ragusa), jazz improvisations present in abundance, national folk rhythms, Rio de la Plata, Brazilian and also classical chamber music. So you can pass throw without transitions from a powerful milongón (A los lejanos), to the chamber chords of "Catastrofe de la bailarina", from the bandoneon lyricism proposed in" June" to obsessive piano arpeggios on "Mariposas". There is a brilliant solo from Marina on the subject that bears his name or a beautiful melody expressed by the flute on "Circe". There are also chacareras, vidalas and bagualas and participation of singers vocalizing the issues on the instruments, but the essence of this very attractive musical debut is the musical coherence that offers, despite its diversity.
An album that shows great promise for future work of the group. And if it appears somewhere announced a presentation of Marina Ruiz, alone or with the group, do not forget to see it. You will not regret it"
